Jr. Ops Trainee

Job Summary:

The Modern East, Content Factory and Hypely are three projects under the umbrella of Modern Media Studios – a new media and content model by Chalhoub Group and Reworld Media.

Hypely.me is a new digital destination where consumers discover a wide range of products and read reviews that enable them to make well-informed purchase decisions. 


You will be working in a very dynamic, fast paced and collaborative setting where each person has a strong voice. Job Responsibilities:

You will support the Sr Ops Manager to be the execution anchor for all internal and external programs under the three projects (Modern East, Content Factory and Hypely).

You will work cross-functionally to successfully support the execution of small-, mid-, and large-scale projects from kickoff through completion as the key stakeholder of timelines, budget, delivery and post-delivery management.

For clients,

  • Help prepare client tracker, update it during project/retainer, highlight anything pending and upcoming deadlines with creative team
  • Booking and coordinating with all stakeholders for client shoots (location, models, hair & makeup etc…)
  • Update Trello with deliverables (mainly for creative team) and ensure tasks are done as per schedule.


In the office,

  • Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary in coordination with Admin Team
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Team on weekly check ups
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel and other data
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, packages etc.)

In the studio,

  • Ensure the studio and its workflow runs smoothly at all times including studio schedule population and management
  • Manage studio diaries
  • Coordinate buying of new equipment for studio
  • Coordinate repairs of studio equipment (when needed)
  • Make sure catering is ordered for client shoot days
  • Handle shoots petty cash and expenses

  • Prior product/project or client management experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for thinking outside the box; ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Demonstrable ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize assignments and ensure the team meets all deadlines
  • Process oriented, but can easily adapt to a growing company with an evolving process
  • Ability to drive projects forward, anticipate needs, strategize solutions and take the initiative
