Digital Business Manager (Creative / Connector) – Own Concepts 

Summary

The Digital Business Manager sets and drives the vertical’s hybrid strategy and omnichannel customer journey by working closely with the Shift team, business captains and external suppliers and by bringing in and leading new and creative initiatives and solutions.

He/ she is a strategic visionary yet is a doer with strong leadership, involvement and drive.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Hybrid Strategy

  • Set the vertical’s transformation vision and lead its hybrid strategy in alignment with the Group’s transformation vision and strategy.
  • Accelerate the development of online business and transform traditional retail stores into experience and community places ensuring that both offline and digital retail platforms work in full synergy towards business goals.
  • Design and drive, in collaboration with the business, the full omnichannel customer journey which aims at offering a highly competitive shopping experience to its customers.
  • Work closely with the COO to set the business plan and holds responsibility for the vertical’s consolidated hybrid P&L.
  • Benchmark the business with hybrid brands to put in place action plans and determine the way forward.
  • Establish the digital ecosystem by creating an open culture, facilitating collaboration and fostering bottom-up innovation.

 

Business Structure and Team Capabilities

 

  • Build a strong relationship with the business to ensure the right structure, processes and objectives are in place to drive the vertical’s hybrid strategy and the digital roadmap.
  • In collaboration with Group Talent Acquisition, ensure the vertical is acquiring the right competencies and skillset to drive the hybrid customer journey.
  • Instil the transformation culture and mindset by leading different initiatives around employees’ empowerment and upskilling people through different development programs and activities with the support of L&D when needed. 

 

Creative and Online Solutions

 

  • Work closely with the Transformation team on creating new business models (subscription e-commerce, selling through influencers…)
  • Remain at the forefront of Digital trends and technologies to source, engage and work with new strategic partners.
  • Lead the creation and design of digital content and communication to complement the offline customer experience and give brands new prospects.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and providers, assess the proposed tools and solutions to speed transformation and introduce / adapt the relevant technologies.
