Regional Trade Marketing Manager NARS

 

We are currently looking for a Regional Trade Marketing Manager to handle one of our top luxury make up brands across six regions in the Middle East! We are looking for someone with previous regional experience in developing and executing trade marketing strategy across the region. You will have previous experience in dealing with luxury retail stores, have strong knowledge of the luxury beauty industry as well as being able to come up with new ideas for creatives and visual designs of our standalone boutiques.

 

What you will do:

  • Manage the Marketing budget and control expenditure to ensure optimal use
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers
  • Participate with Brand/ Product Managers and the GM in setting up the yearly plan suitable for the market and as per the brands' guidelines
  • Participate with the GM in a strategic meeting with suppliers, regional teams…to negotiate commercial conditions (margin, animations, exclusivity…)
  • Monitor the market trends, identify new target markets and determine potential positioning
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, logistics, marketing and merchandising with regards to new openings, closing or renovation operations
  • Maintain a smooth relationship with the suppliers and business partners
  • Follow up on sales reports and use the information to take action when necessary
  • Record, monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities and provides suggested action plans
  • Provide the GM with quantitative and qualitative reports using data from market studies
  • Assist the GM in defining the yearly strategic plan for the network and in preparing the annual budgets and forecasted sales
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Provide prompt, thorough, and accurate information to keep management appropriately informed of the organisation’s financial position

 

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Excellent knowledge and passion for the luxury beauty industry
  • Previous regional trade marketing exposure
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead a team of 2 direct reports
  • Can coordinate efficiently and build relationships with different stakeholders in the Group/team  
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and understanding the ROI’s
  • Excellent competency with reporting mechanism knowing how to collate and read reports
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and key competitors
