Luxury Fashion Division Manager

What we are looking for: Luxury Fashion Division Manager

You will be responsible for setting up the business plan of the division along with goals and objectives, budgets and commercial targets in alignment with the Groups’ strategic direction for the short and long term.

 

What you’ll do:

  • You will be responsible for managing an entire division, directly and through the Department Managers, ensuring excellence of commercial performance.
  • Strategically, elaborate the vision at key stakeholder level and plan the annually strategic plans and the annual budgets in line with groups vision and mission
  • Conduct strategic meetings with suppliers, marketing, merchandising and regional teams to negotiate commercial conditions (margins, animations, exclusivity)
  • Develop and conduct goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards within the division
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team; recommend marketing mix for existing stores and new openings
  • Set the annual budgets for the division
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure that goals and objectives are met; from sales targets, margins and profit
  • You will have full accountability for the commercials, strategy, reporting, marketing, performance management, budget, and stock management
  • Approve brand mix and oversee smooth implementation of opening, closing and renovation of stores whilst being involved with the buying process
  • Maintain relationships with the suppliers and business partners to ensure that overall growth of the division is aligned with the Groups strategy
  • Negotiate targets, locations and brand support with key suppliers
  • Promote and grow customer service excellence
  • Develop, monitor and oversee the division and Groups budget and financial KPIs
  • Analyze and improve cost effectiveness; in collaboration with Retail Leadership Team
  • Review the stores performance, sales targets, marketing activities, staff training and development
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities
  • Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes

 

What you need to succeed in this role:

We see success in the role as having a strong knowledge of the luxury consumer, the competitive landscape of the luxury industry, and an in-depth understanding of the evolving media and digital landscape in order to drive the brand vision regionally and globally, constantly elevating our ability to acquire new customers, retaining existing customers and continuing to drive sales in the luxury/lifestyle category through consumable content.

More specifically, we would love to hear from you if you can say yes to the below....

 

  • 15+ years of relevant experience 
  • Experience with managing a multi store brand across the GCC region
  • Luxury fashion retail management experience
  • You will need to be commercially minded with a strong business acumen
  • Solid understand and knowledge of brand marketing
  • Successfully implemented brand strategies for multiple regions
  • Excellent communicator; comfortable dealing with key stakeholders and building relationships
