What we are looking for:  Digital Mechandiser - Swarovski

 

As a Digital Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the brands eCommerce store over all digital channels (web, mobile, tablet) and over all countries. You will also be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day eCommerce operations, on an end-to-end perspective from product photography, digital marketing through to display and sale of products online. You will ensure streamlined operations of the eCommerce store and to build and optimize omni-channel operations in order to maximize sales and profitability of Swarovski's portfolio.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Build and execute the eCommerce Brand Strategy plan with the Brand’s departments concerned (Sales, Marketing, CRM, Communication, etc.)
  • Participate in countries and Group strategic meetings with suppliers, regional and countries teams to negotiate commercial conditions (margin, animations, exclusivity, etc.)
  • Supervise its operational application and overall alignment on site messaging and communication with customers for a consistent Brand image (yearly calendar and marketing activities implementation including traffic management)
  • Ensure respect of eCommerce budgets for operations and digital marketing
  • Control and follow up the supply processes with the Merchandise Analyst (Quantity, Quality, and Deadline)
  • Work with Buyers, Purchase Controllers and Merchandise Analysts, ensure the efficiency of logistics processes to ensure that new products received are built out and populated on the eCommerce website in a streamlined fashion
  • Supervise the creation of product content by junior copywriters to ensure that they unique content is created in a timely fashion and is ready to be uploaded to the website with new products received.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team, photographer and graphic designer to ensure that the Brand website is updated regularly in line with a marketing plan
  • Work with the eCommerce Traffic Specialist to plan and execute digital campaigns aimed at driving traffic and sales on the website
  • Plan and Execute dynamic email campaigns to deliver traffic and sales to the website
  • Ensure the technical operability & optimization of the websites on each device with IT
  • Work with the eCommerce Division Manager to plan and execute the delivery of the new eCommerce website
  • Supervise the application and overall alignment on site messaging and communication with customers through the eCommerce Customer Service Representative
  • Liaise with Group Contact Center whenever it is needed to provide any required information and guidelines to solve any issue with Customer (returns, refunds, cancellation, claims…)
  • Establish and maintain metrics and provide frequent communication and feedback to management to enhance quality and productivity
  • Produce Group operation reports and customer management reports
  • Help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect the service, and productivity
  • Record, monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities and provides suggested action plans

 

What you need to succeed at this role:

 

  • University Degree in any relevant field
  • Previous experience in a merchandising\planner role, ideally with a focus on e-commerce
  • Strong knowledge of the Luxury Retail world in the GCC
  • Great understanding of e-commerce and omni-channel platform, especially within a luxury retail environment
  • Teamwork and adaptability

  • Good analytical skills applied to merchandising and sales analysis
