What we are looking for: Marketing Manager – Beauty  

We are currently recruiting for a Digital and Brand Marketing Manager who knows how attract and engage target audiences across all channels in digital (owned, earned, paid) and in traditional marketing (in-store, events, activations) to support the business objectives. You will work on the online and offline strategies and implement them. In addition, you will evaluate the market conditions, competition activities and ensure adherence to allocated budget while driving platform growth (traffic + conversion) across channels (preferably in consumer goods/luxury space). You will be a high-level strategic thinker, keen to roll-up-your sleeves and be a detail-oriented executioner!

 

What you will do

Digital Marketing

·         Build & Maintain the Digital strategy for the Middle East and Pan India (Social Media, Influencers, Driving eCom, Display..etc)

·         Drive the roll-out of the strategy and ensure consistent and on-brand execution

·         Build strong partnerships with key Digital platforms (Google, Facebook, YouTube…etc.)

·         Manage external agency handling Media Buying

·         Build strong consumer engagement campaigns with relevant digital content

·         Define & Maintain the influencer strategy by brand by market (F2F Meetings, Seeding, Collaborations..etc)

·         Develop and implement MEJV social strategy both at organic and paid levels

·         Build and implement an SEO strategy by brand by market – when need be

·         Measure and report performance of all digital marketing actions and assess against goals

·         Evaluate data to identify trends and opportunities across the digital market. Making suggestions and changes based on results to continually increase conversion rate

 

eCom

·         Lead Account Management for all eCom accounts (Pure Players, eTailers, Marketplace)

·         Manage the eCom presence in India market through the Distributor arm

·         Draw creative plans with Online Partners to increase Sales & Exposure Potential across their platforms

·         Take full accountability of Marketing Campaigns under the eCom Partners’ umbrella

·         Set tailored Marketing plan per Account

·         Set Sales Objectives for eCom accounts by value & quantity & remain accountable for achieving them.

·         Consistently follow up on Sales & Exposure performance and intervene when required

 

Brand Marketing

·         Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services

·         Participate with the General Manager in setting up the yearly plan suitable for the region and as per the brands guidelines

·         Participate with the General Manager in strategic meetings with distributors and retailers to negotiate marketing activities and exposures

·         Negotiate brand support with all distributors

·         Recommend marketing mix for existing shops and new openings and ensure smooth implementation once approved by the Global team

·         Oversee all promotions and advertisement activities to ensure alignment with set objectives

·         Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors

·         Monitor the market trends and competition

·         Build and maintain the relationship with the different distributors

 

General Operations

·         Update the team members and distributors with the latest marketing calendars

·         Build a library of the images and assets received from the Global team

·         Follow up with the distributors and ask for reports of each activation or new launch

·         Plan and execute the Makeup Tour across the region

·         Plan and execute the Training seminar for the region (with the international trainer and TR)

·         Provide the Global team with all the reports required

·         Prepare a launch plan and a launch report for each and every launch & share with Global teams

·         Be in direct and continuous contact with the Global team for all the marketing plans, activities, strategies and support needed

 

What you need to succeed in this role:

·         Ability to create content, write captions in English/Arabic

·         Budget management experience  

·         Excellent knowledge of Social Media and paid ads understanding, including Instagram, You Tube, Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter.

·         Knows how to pull and read basic reports

·         Experience with Google Analytics and ability to track and measure conversions

·         Understanding how the e commerce landscape works

·         Understanding campaigns ROI and SEO

·         Experience in social media platform management, media buying and ecommerce in terms of managing accounts
