Beauty - Regional Retail Sales Department Manager - Dubai

What we are looking for:

 

We are looking for a Regional Retail Sales Department Manager to manage the smooth operations of all Make Up Forever Stores in the UAE and local countries – distribution and retail. This person will be responsible for providing operation support, training to store managers, operational coordination with the mall authorities and provide on-site coordination of new projects.

 

What you’ll do:

  

  • Ensure compliance of store operations to Group store procedures and local constraints
  • Ensure compliance to Store manual and audit and implementation of changes of SOP and system related procedures
  • Gather all relevant forms, logs and scorecards to monitor efficiency of store operations, by store by analyzing KPIs, identifying patterns of issues and root causes
  • Act as the local champion on back store operations and system related procedures with process manager on Retail Operations and provide her/him with insights and feedbacks on process issues and introduction of new KPIs
  • Support area managers and store managers in taking immediate remedial operational actions
  • Gather daily SORT forms from store managers in order to take immediate action with concerned service providers and mall authorities
  • Provide to store managers list of pre-assigned neighbouring stores where they could request support
  • Gather daily incident reports sent by store managers and propose remedial action when related to back store operations
  • Ensure operational coordination with mall authorities for stores
  • Ensure that all stores receive in time the updated contact list for communication with mall management provided by Admin team as well as the mall communication to tenants
  • Support local teams to obtain permits from malls to grant access to external service providers (e.g. marketing events, VM supplies, maintenance, stock takes, etc..) or product deliveries in coordination with Admin
  • Gather regularly reports from store managers on issues or concerns related to mall authorities and try to find solutions with malls if needed , and escalate whenever required to LGM
  • Store staff trainings and coaching
  • Provide coaching to store managers on SOPs
  • Support store managers and area managers in assessment of needs of technical trainings on store operations
  • Measure level of knowledge and adoption of SOPs and system related procedures by teams and identify gaps during visits and through SOQLE scores
  • Assist store managers and area managers in identifying gaps in technical trainings related to store operations, especially system related procedures and recommend trainings
  • Report to LGM and local HRBP for future actions (e.g. training needs)
  • Review monthly operational issues affecting sales with Area managers
     

 

What you need to succeed in this role:

The successful candidate will have a strong retail mindset in order to strategise and execute.  You will understand the Arabic culture and have good mobility in order to travel.
